Front Side Reflectors
I am very happy with the results of this cleaning. The rubber came out fantastically. I used goo gone to clean up. Then after cleaning the goo stuff off, I applied Black Magic that restored the rubbers shine and flexibility. The chrome outside was polished, the base cleaned with goo gone, the thread was brushed and coated with WD-40. I'm still not happy with the plastic reflector but will look into ways to deal with that later. These are expensive to replace as I believe they were only used on the 69.
License Plate Light
This looked just pitiful and I was concerned that I would have to replace them. They look like they were a neglected part of the car's upkeep. Also notice the primer stuck to the base like it was placed on the car before the primer dried. Curious...
After cleaning the lens with CLR cleaner and a little bit of spit and shine it looks just wonderful.
The chrome is spectacular, no pits and looks just like new.
Headlight trim
The outer rings are the condition before, the inner rings are after, just a little digital photowork to keep things interesting. These cleaned up very very well, shining somewhat with their own glow. The rust was brushed off the metal tab and looks to be OK. Each of the two rings have mild dents in them, but they are not very easy to see, but running your hand over the shape will bring their location to light. I will try and press them back out but won't go far as it is very much not noticeable and I don't want to make the situation worse.
